The weekend is a profound healing and spiritual journey for all who attend.
The level of energy generated is enormous and it is this which helps participants make fundamental changes in their lives.
Tri Kaya means three body and Parisudha can be translated as liberation or realisation. The three bodies refers to the material, the psychic and the spiritual modes of existence. These are energy states, psychological experiences and “real” events all at the same time.
The material aspect is easy for us to relate to since it is our conscious everyday experience. This is our habitual “normal” existence and this is where we experience suffering, doubt and loss. In fact material reality is so overwhelming it often binds us to the other two modes of existence.
The psychic aspect is the unseen worlds, the invisible, the unconscious. Unless we change the psychic aspect of relationships, as well as the conscious, we are continually struggling against a hidden part of ourselves. This makes the task of growing and learning to live happily difficult and sometimes impossible. This retreat deals with this.
Consider how many people recognize their patterns or problems and resolve to change them only to slip back again and again into the same old suffering. It is almost as if unseen rubber bands haul us backward each time we take a step forward. The difficulty of the continual struggle to grow and mature arises from the hidden psychic connections and dependencies we all carry.
Most people are aware of the spiritual mode of existence but generally it is something we aspire to or hope for rather than a reliable and repeatable event. We therefore worship rather than directly experience living in the spiritual world. This retreat puts us in direct contact with the pure love and peace of our own hearts. This is compassion.
To be free we must recognise our own restrictions and learn how to break these restraining influences on our lives. This is realisation.
To permanently change our self-identities we must deal with our past both consciously and psychically. This is liberation and the purpose of the weekend.
